About the Demo Account

To really understand the way spread betting works, our Demo Account allows you to navigate around our dealing platform, make 'paper trades' (i.e. trading without depositing funds) and generally get a feel for the InterTrader.com trading system without actually risking any money.

The InterTrader.com Demo Account provides just a selection of the products available with a full account, but mirrors our live trading system in all other respects, other than the requirement for depositing funds! You will begin with a virtual cash balance of £10,000 to get you going.

Please refer to our User Manual for help with placing your first demo trades. As a Demo Account holder you also receive free access to our exclusive Learn To Trade series of webinars. This unique training course contains four hours of structured tutorials designed to carry you through every stage of successful trading.

Please note that stop-losses are automatically allocated to every trade you make, but you can amend your stop level as required. Stop-losses are automatically applied to every trade but in the event of a market 'gap' or extreme volatility your stop-loss may not be filled at the stated price and may be subject to slippage.
