Stock index futures: June levels for the rollover

Jason Sen

FTSE 100 June futures have minor support at 7055/50 but a move below 7040 would re-test the low this week at 7000/6990. On further losses we’d be testing two-week lows at 6973/70.

There is minor resistance at 7080/90 but a move above 7100 targets 7115/20. A break above the recovery high at 7127 would then target 7145/40.

If the E-mini S&P 500 holds below 2817/12 we target 2812/11 and then good support at 2803/01. Long positions need stops below 2799. A break lower targets 2796/95 then meets a buying opportunity at 2789/87, with stops below 2782.
A break above 2828 targets 2835/36, then 2843/45.

The DAX 30 held 11620/630 highs for this week on the bounce and we have sold off to 11550/560 in the March contract. In the June contract we have this week’s high at 11650. A move higher re-tests the March high at 11692. Further gains target 11725/730, then 11850/860.

The first support is at 11580/560 but below here we target 11530/520 before support at 11495/485. A break below 11475 targets support at 11400/390, but expect better support at 11370/360. Try long positions with stops below 11320.

If Nasdaq June futures hold below minor resistance at 7293/91 we target 7273/71, perhaps as far as 7257/55. Expect good support, however, at 7245/40. A break below 7235 targets 7220/17 then strong support at 7190/85.

A break above 7335 in the bull trend targets 7356/60. On further gains look for resistance at 7381/85.

Euro Stoxx 50 June futures topped at 3250. We have minor support at 3238/35, then better support at 3225/20. Long positions need stops below 3215 for a re-test of the 3203/00 lows for this week.

Resistance is at the 3250/55 high. A break higher targets 3261/64, then 3290/95.
